Created in 2002 by CRIAQ(Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec), Student Aerospace Forum (SAF) is an opportunity to meet industry representatives, students in all faculties of engineering and university research groups.
Thanks to CRIAQ's support, SAF is a completely free event for students. In fact, this includes free transportation and accommodation (hotel) for students from outside the region of Montreal, some meals and admission to the forum. In this way, we ensure that the forum is accessible to a larger body of students of Quebec.
The 6th edition of SAF will be held on September 14 and 15, 2007 in Montreal at McGill University under the theme:
“Your future in aerospace: careers, innovations, environment.”
With that theme, SAF wants to focus on career opportunities in aeronautics and aerospace in Quebec, while pointing out the innovative character of the local companies. In addition, SAF 2007 would like to bring an environmental part to its schedule. In the actual context where all the industrial actors have to review their production philosophy from an environmental point of view, SAF team proposes to explore the problems encountered by the aerospace industry, the possibilities and the challenges it will have to face to be in the frontline for the future.
On the schedule of the 6th edition are: conferences, workshops, kiosks, contests, debates and much more! Do not miss your chance to meet your peers at SAF 2007!
